ヤマハ株式会社のマークは3本の音叉が組み合わさったものです。 この3本の音叉には、「技術」「製造」「販売」という、メーカーにとって大切な3部門を表しています。さらに、音楽の基本である「メロディー」「ハーモニー」「リズム」の調和という意味も込められているとのことです。

また楽器の「ヤマハ」のロゴは、音叉の先が円内におさまり、YAMAHAの「M」の文字の中央部分が下に付いていません。 よく見ると、ロゴに使用されている各アルファベットの形が、おのおの左右非対称です。

ヤマハ発動機のロゴは、各文字が左右対称です。言われないとほとんど気が付かないところです。
