写真は英国で出版されているSV650の「Haynes Service ＆ Repair Manual」。中身は整備書ながら、読んでよし、眺めてよし、飾ってよしのまさに三方良しな実用書。彼の国の趣味とDIYの世界の奥深さを感じます。
ところで、同じ英国に「Bennetts」という90年の歴史を持つ単車専門の保険会社があり、そこが運営する単車の最新情報や長期評価のサイトは質が高く充実していてとても参考になる。
今日は帰宅する通勤電車のなかでSuzuki GSX-8Sを紹介するページを何気に眺めていたところ、四半世紀前にSV650が登場したときの驚き、喜び、感動が重ねられた記事を見つけて痺れた〜。SV650ってこんなにも評価が高い歴史的な単車だったのね（今も高いけど）と、改めて嬉しくなっちゃいました💕
